Explainer records live at https://explainertools.com/agents/explainers/{id}.json and creator records at https://explainertools.com/agents/creators/{id}.json. The id is the last part of the page address, as in /agents/explainers/original-lens-lab.json.
What each explainer record says
Every record gives the title, the one-line summary, format, subject, topics, the credited creator, where it runs, the date it joined this collection and its canonical page. Independent works also carry their creator’s original link. Records cite the files they came from in provenance.
59 of 288 records also carry the question, sliders, presets, “Model ·” tags, model notes and credit read from an ExplainerTools Original’s own page, and 58 include a Short or film’s model limit. The other 229 describe the work from its catalog record. Their own model notes and sources are on the creator’s page, and the record says so in coverage.

}Use it well
- Name the creator and link the canonical page or the creator’s original. Inclusion here does not imply a partnership or endorsement.
- Originals are teaching models. Keep their “Model ·” labels and limits with any number you quote. They are not measurements, forecasts or engineering predictions.
- “Added” is when a work joined this collection, not when its creator released it. A published date is shown only where the catalog or a dated creator source gives one.
- Cache the JSON and prefer it to scraping pages. Records change when the catalog does.
What this is not
These files make the public catalog easier to read. They are not a ranking signal and promise no placement in any search or AI product. The normal pages, sitemaps and structured data stay the source of truth for search engines. There is no private data here: no accounts, saves, likes, explainer requests or email subscribers.
